How to use it
- Choose one file
- select peak normalization or gain
- enter decibels and inspect the clipping report.

A sample with peak amplitude 0.25 normalized to -1 dBFS reaches about 0.8913. Gain mode at +6 dB multiplies samples by about 1.9953.

What to know
Peak normalization is not loudness normalization. Gain may clip samples; the result reports clipping. Silence cannot be peak-normalized.
Keep an original copy. Review the output before sharing or relying on it. Reset clears this workspace; inputs are not saved by Handyfold.
