HANDYFOLD / PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains the data practices of Handyfold at elunaris.win. Tool files and input are processed in your browser. The current site has no account system, payment service, advertising scripts, analytics scripts or remote tool-processing service.

1. Tool files, inputs and results

When you select a file or paste text into a tool, the tool reads and processes that material locally. It does not upload your file, text or generated result to a server. Results stay in the page session until cleared or the page is left; downloads are saved by your browser to your device. Keep any output you need.

The site does not intentionally save input fields between visits. Your browser, operating system or extensions may separately restore forms, record history, manage downloads or offer autofill. Their behavior is outside the tool’s local processing logic.

2. Browser storage and navigation history

Handyfold uses the following browser features to keep ordinary navigation useful. None of these records contains the contents of selected files, pasted tool data, generated output or a contact-form draft.

Session storage normally lasts for the tab’s browsing session; browser session restoration can retain it longer. Browser-history records follow your browser’s history and session settings. Clearing the offline pack or recent-tool list does not clear all other navigation records. Use the browser’s site-data controls and, where needed, history controls to remove them. Blocking storage can reduce these conveniences without preventing the core local calculations.

The search box is for tool names or tasks, not confidential material. Submitting the home-page search places the search words in the directory URL, for example /tools/?q=pdf. That URL may appear in browser history and normal website request logs. Filtering within the directory runs locally, but its search and category state may be kept in the navigation records described above.

3. Offline pack

A service worker handles offline access. Choosing Download offline pack stores application resources in Cache Storage: pages, guides, cover images, styles, scripts, icons and local PDF dependencies. User inputs and output files are not added to that resource pack. A pack is marked ready only after its full resource list is cached.

Use Clear offline pack on the Offline page to remove it. Browser cleanup, private browsing and storage eviction can also remove cached data. Offline resources are specific to the browser and site origin, and downloaded resources may be updated when you reconnect.

4. Website requests and hosting

Opening or updating the site requests files from its host. A host, network or security service may receive information needed to deliver those requests, such as an IP address, requested URL and query string, browser headers and request time. These connection requests are distinct from uploading files to a tool.

Actual hosting logs, retention and service-provider settings depend on the deployed infrastructure. Hosting and security services may use technical request records to deliver pages, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. Their retention and processing locations depend on the service and its configuration; application code alone cannot establish those settings. Pages, scripts, article covers and bundled PDF resources are served from this website; the interface does not require third-party font services or externally embedded processing tools.

5. Contact and correspondence

The contact-page draft checker performs validation locally and does not transmit or store a message. If you separately send email to [email protected], your email provider and the receiving email service process that communication. Information you include may be used to understand and respond to your enquiry, address corrections or rights concerns, and meet applicable obligations. Send only the information needed; do not attach sensitive originals merely to report a tool issue.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The current application does not set cookies and contains no advertising, audience analytics, tracking-pixel or account integrations. Recent-tool shortcuts, reading state and the offline pack use browser storage for the functions described here; they are not sent by the application to an analytics service. A hosting or security layer may have separate practices; they must be assessed against the actual deployment rather than inferred from application code.

7. Google personalized advertising choices

The following links let you review Google’s advertising choices and data explanations. Their inclusion does not mean Google advertising is currently enabled on Handyfold.

Turning off personalization does not necessarily stop advertisements or all data processing. Google explains that ads may still be contextual and information may still be used for purposes such as measurement and fraud prevention. If this site introduces advertising or analytics later, its implementation and disclosures must be reviewed before use.

8. External links and third-party works

Guides link to source documentation, image credits and licenses. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own practices. Those links are not used to process tool input. Article cover files are included in this site’s resources; reading an article does not require retrieving its cover from the original image provider.

9. Security, retention and your controls

No browser, device or Internet connection is risk-free. Local processing reduces unnecessary file transfer but cannot protect against a compromised device, browser extension or shared download folder. Clear inputs, save needed results and use your browser’s site-data controls on shared devices.

Recent-tool identifiers and resource caches remain until you clear them, the application replaces them or the browser removes them. Session and history records follow the controls described in section 2. Downloaded results follow your device’s file-retention behavior. Email correspondence is separate from browser storage and may need to be kept to handle the enquiry, resolve a rights issue or meet an applicable obligation; this page does not promise a fixed retention period. Enquiries about correspondence or other information held outside the browser can be sent to the contact address below.

10. Privacy requests and younger users

Depending on applicable law and the information actually held, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion or other privacy choices, or contact a relevant supervisory authority. Describe your request at [email protected]; do not provide unnecessary identity documents. The local tools cannot retrieve files or results that remain solely on your device.

This general-purpose collection is not designed to solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian with a concern about information sent in correspondence can contact us so the specific situation can be reviewed.

11. Changes and questions

Changes to actual functionality, storage, hosting or third-party integrations may require changes to this policy. The date above identifies the current revision. Privacy enquiries: [email protected].
