About Handyfold
Last updated:
Handyfold brings practical file and everyday tasks together at elunaris.win: free tools that run in your browser, with clear explanations you can put to work.
What you can do here
The collection includes 30 tools across six areas: PDF and documents, images and printing, tables and data, writing and subtitles, audio, and everyday planning. Organize a document pack, inspect a CSV, prepare a photo sheet, adjust a recording or create a calendar event without an account or a paid subscription.
Each tool has its own workspace, instructions, a reproducible example and limitations. Try the example to understand the input and expected result before using your own material. Tools process files and text locally; there are no external tool embeds or remote processing APIs.
Who Handyfold is for
Handyfold is for people who need to finish a small task without setting up a larger application: a student arranging a document, an organizer preparing a print sheet, an editor adjusting subtitles, or a household scaling a recipe or settling a shared bill. Start with All tools, choose a category, or read the FAQ if you are unsure how a workflow behaves.
How we approach a useful tool
- A focused task. The name and description explain what the tool does before you choose a file.
- A result you can check. Worked examples identify expected values, page counts, dimensions or timing.
- Visible limits. Supported formats, resource limits and important losses are explained alongside the workspace.
- Control over your work. You choose the inputs and decide when to download, copy, reset or leave the page.
Practical guides with traceable sources
Our blog explains the decisions behind everyday file tasks, including PDF privacy, print scaling, CSV matching, subtitle timing, audio levels and calendar timezones. Guides are researched using relevant documentation and primary references, with links so readers can check the basis for important claims.
Examples are identified as examples. A guide distinguishes a tool’s actual operation from results it cannot guarantee: page extraction is not secure redaction, peak normalization is not a loudness certification, and a downloaded calendar file is not a sent invitation.
Privacy by keeping work local
Selected files, pasted text and generated output are not uploaded by the tools. Browser storage supports recent-tool shortcuts and returning to a reading position or directory filter; it does not save the contents of your tool inputs or results. An optional offline pack stores application pages and resources, including guides and covers. Read the Privacy Policy for the distinctions between local processing, browser storage and website hosting.
A useful collection, with clear boundaries
Browser memory, supported codecs and source-file quality affect what can be processed. PDF operations can lose interactive features. Estimates and calculations depend on the values you enter. Keep original files, review exported results and consult an appropriate professional when the consequences require it.
Software, imagery and independence
PDF tools use locally bundled open-source libraries. Interface icons use Lucide. Applicable notices are available on the licenses page. Blog covers carry their own image credits and license links; references to third-party products do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
The current site includes no advertising or analytics scripts. If those features change, the relevant privacy disclosures will need to change as well.
Maintaining the collection
Tool changes are checked with examples and relevant input boundaries. Guides link to supporting sources and are revised when an identified error or a change in behavior affects their advice. These checks reduce mistakes; they do not guarantee that every possible file, browser or use case will succeed. Report a reproducible issue so its effect can be assessed.
Corrections and suggestions
Help improve a confusing example, identify a factual error or suggest a useful workflow. Include the page address, the issue and a supporting source where possible. Use non-sensitive sample data for tool reports. General, editorial, privacy and licensing enquiries all use [email protected]. See Contact for what to include.
